Getting started

The first step in our process is to define your goals as you might want to increase traffic, revenue or return on your media investment. Keyword research and creative ad copy

Tagging your site

We use proprietary technology to track the success of your campaigns. We "tag" the page on your Web site that represents a "conversion" point. Usually this will be a shopping cart, thank-you page, confirmation page or registration page. Each time a customer visits that page, our servers are notified of the event. Our tag also collects data such as amount spent, order IDs and other information used to determine sales and ROI.

Launch and tracking

Once your site is tagged and campaigns are developed, we will launch your campaign and they usually go live on search engines within 48 hours or less. Our real-time Web-based reporting system provides a complete view of the progress of your campaigns. We continuously monitor your returns and refine strategies in an effort to increase performance.

Each time a customer clicks-through on one of your ads, they are routed through our servers so we can track what they clicked on and when. We also store information about that event on the user's computer via cookies. This allows us to match their initial search to their final conversion point, even if they don't complete a transaction on your site until days or weeks later. Many searchers do not complete a transaction on the first click-through. They may research and contemplate for days before finally making a purchase. Tracking these deferred conversions is essential to understanding how to optimize your keyword campaigns.

Every month, your Client Manager will summarize your campaign’s performance against objectives and recommend changes including: creative ad copy edits, keyword changes and additions, and adjustments to your budget.
